Imagine if the next iPad could run for days without a charge.
Last time I checked, it does.
Maybe not the way Sam Biddle meant, but it does in the way that few high end gadgets ever have. 10+ hours of battery life is based on constant usage. You can watch over 10 hours of movies on the new iPad on one charge (12.8 according to CNET). The average user can fiddle with their iPad for days before the battery is depleted enough to require charging. I only charge my iPad once every 2-3 days, and it is rarely in the red as far as battery life. Now, I am not using it heavily all the time, but the device is still on and ready.
Is that to say I haven’t killed the battery in just one day? Of course not. It can be done, but I think a majority of people easily get 1-2 days of normal usage out of that 10+hour battery life in the real world.
